Eli is turning one! Eli’s mom contacted me about having a one-year-old session. She had two goals in mind, the first was to capture two simple photos (one of his face and one of his feet) that she could print very large to hang in her family room, and the second was to capture Eli with all of his favorite things. In doing this, she could always look back on these pictures, and be reminded of everything he was doing and experiencing at this age. So, she brought some of his favorite toys, books, and foods, and we went to town!

Eli’s mom brought a small cake to our photo shoot. This was Eli’s first experience with sugar, and I think it was a great success! He was tentative at first, but after a few bites of frosting, he dug right in.

And, to finish up the session, we captured Eli with one of his favorite books: Goodnight Moon.
